The custom appearance invokes the memory of the “outside spare” of the old custom cars, and the contemporary design blends perfectly with the “new” nostalgia styling of the PT Cruiser. It has the factory like appearance of being an original part of the concept, but ending up a bit too wild for production. Which is just right!

The supplied custom brackets relocate the hatch handle and key lock to the “spare tire cover” and function as original. The quality molded “spare tire cover” is attached using the cleverly designed patent pending stainless steel brackets and 3M application specific adhesives and does not require you to drill any holes in your Cruiser. The kit contains detailed instructions and photos and all the necessary hardware for installation. Every kit also contains chrome, gold, black, and wood grain trim to provide you with a choice to match your PT Woody™ or other trim. 

The “spare tire cover” will require painting to match your Cruiser. Installation requires about 1 1/2 hours.

The “Full Face” Wood grain Vinyl Option contains pre-cut wood grain vinyl (the same product as PT Woody™ “Wood” Kits) to cover the entire “face” of the Continental Kit.
